You can also view how much disk space you have left and get your site's usage statistics.

Unlimited ftp updates. you can use any ftp software like Ws_ftp or Cute ftp to upload files to your site and you can use any ISP to do so.

Virtual Server: All of our business hosting packages include free domain transfer. This enables you to take full advantage of your virtual server, giving your web site a more professional look. Your domain name will not only appear in the address bar of the browser but also in the status bar at the bottom.

FAQ on HOSTING

What is Hosting?	Hosting is basically about where your web site will be situated. You have to imagine your web site is like a building, it needs a place to reside, like your building needs a plot of land, your web site needs web space (hosting).
Why do I need hosting?	Without a host, your web site cannot be viewed by the Internet. A host will store your web site on a server so it can be seen by the world 24 hours a day
What is a server?	A server is basically a computer with a hard drive that is connected to the Internet 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Why can't I run my own server?	Although it is possible to run your own server, the logistics of keeping the server up and running 24 hours a day, let alone the cost of having it connected to the Internet 365 days a year would give your bank balance a severe blow. The cost could run into tens of thousands of pounds, and you or someone else would also need a great deal of computer knowledge to run a server.
Is there another way of getting my web site on the Internet?	There are lots of ways to get a web site on the Internet, some ISP's (Internet service providers) even include free web space as part of their accounts (I.E. AOL, orange). again without a basic knowledge of the Internet you may be wasting valuable time and resources. The quality of so-called free web space may be enough for a simple home page but certainly not ideal for a business website, another thing to bare in mind is the host giving free web space may display advertising on your site.

How much web space will I need?	This depends on the size of your site. A typical web site (1 to 10 pages) may only use up to 3mb of space, a larger web site (10-20 pages) may use up to 10mb. If your site needs lots of graphics and photos then your site may need more space.
